Molly Powers Simmons is the studio owner and lead yoga teacher at 2 Basket Street Yoga. She teaches a vibrant brand of power Vinyasa yoga and loves the magic and healing that yoga provides the mind, body, and soul.
“Molly’s yoga class is my favorite! Molly’s sparkly positive persona permeates the studio making me feel relaxed and energized. Her verbal instructions/cues give a strenuous yoga journey with frequent delightful stories that make me smile, even holding dolphin plank! The actual studio is enough reason to find yourself loving yoga. A beautiful barn overlooking a field and the Sandwich mountain range with fresh air gently blowing and birds chirping. Savasana is blissful here. The setting and Molly’s buoyant spirit make it my favorite place to be a yogini.”
“I attended my first ever yoga class a few weeks ago at 2 Basket Street Yoga. I loved it! The studio is beautiful and clean. Molly is an entertaining, yet thoughtful and forgiving teacher, helping out this beginner with kindness and encouragement. One of my favorite parts was when we were in “mountain pose” we were actually looking out the window at a mountain! Great space, great teacher. I can’t wait to go back next time I’m in Sandwich! ”
“Four plus years ago, I walked into Molly’s yoga class in Lexington, Massachusetts and I was immediately hooked to her teaching style. As a summer resident in Moultonborough NH, I am beyond thrilled that she has opened her studio in Sandwich! The 2 Basket Street Yoga Studio is unlike any other studio I have have practiced in. Molly has created a cozy and and peaceful space with the most incredible views! Molly’s warm and joyful welcome to her students upon their arrival, her enthusiastic manner of teaching class and her positive encouragement always fill me up. She is truly one of a kind! I cannot wait for my next class with her.”
